The process to capturing your next family session begins with contacting me. Whew that was easy right?
Booking
Next, I’ll reach with a phone call to get more information about what type of session and your goal. This call usually takes about 15 minutes, as I want to make sure I am able to answer any questions. This is a pretty important step, because this call will determine if we move forward with booking a session.
As a full service photographer, I focus on the tangible instead of just digital files, and I know many people just want digitals. While I do offer an all inclusive package that includes some digitals, it’s not my main focus. I focus more on the tangible things rather than a digital file that can get overlooked in ever day life. I like to focus on adding wall art to homes that families can remember the experience as they enter their house or office.
Session Planning
A week from your session, we will schedule a planning session where we plan out your entire session. We will walk through location for your session, the outfits your planning, where you may see wall art in your home, and opportunity to ask any questions.
Before your session, I will have you send me a picture of your walls where you family may want some wall art. During the planning session, I will show you some mock ups of what art will look like in your space. Doing this session is quite important, because then it gives me a clear understanding of what images I am capturing and their purpose. If I am shooting for a large wall art piece, then this will help we know exactly what to capture. As we wrap up this sessions, we will end with any other questions you may have, as this will be the last meeting we have before your session.
Your Session
We’ve made it to your session! Yay. We have an awesome session. I get some natural emotions, do some funny dances, make some funny, probably embarrassing, noises, then we end the session.
Boom, done… That was easy and fun. I’ll process your images and even post a sneak peek or two, if you’d like, to get you through the next few weeks before your images are ready to be viewed.
The Big One… The Reveal
About two weeks after your session, we’ll have your reveal and ordering session in my studio or via Zoom. This will be your first official viewing of your images where I will present to you your images. We will go through your images a few times, then we’ll work to select you absolute must haves. I will show you a few different designs in your spaces, that way when I deliver your products you will see exactly what it will look like in your home.
We will work through perfecting your wall art selections and decide how we can fill your house with other products like albums, photo cubes, and folio boxes. One we finalize all your selections we complete your order and I go through and order all your products and deliver any digital images included in your purchase so you can enjoy them while your products are getting ready.
Delivery
This is the moment we’ve been waiting for… delivery time! We’ll set up a time for me to drop off your products and hang your wall art. I want you to sit back and relax, while your art goes up. After everything is up, I’ll snap a few photos then be on my way.
I want this process to be as simple as possible for all my clients, which is why I work to get to know your family better, so that way I can deliver exactly what your family wants. I am here to serve you the best way I possibly can.
